25L Round Blueberry Pot with Side Drainage Holes — Nursery PP Container
25-liter round blueberry pot with extra side drainage holes for faster root-zone aeration. Standard Ø38 cm trade size fits existing nursery racks and benches. UV-stabilized PP, elevated legs, 26,100 pcs/40HQ.
The Round Blueberry Pot with Side Drainage Holes, Upgraded for Nurseries
Round pots still dominate commercial berry fields, and for good reason. They also fit the benches, racks, and trolley systems nurseries already own. The round blueberry pot with side drainage holes keeps that familiar, proven form. At the same time, it solves the one weakness of round pots: slow aeration in humid climates.
It also holds 25 liters (6.5 gallons). Overall, the top is Ø38.2 cm, and total height is 36.5 cm. So this is the standard trade size. It drops straight onto existing Ø38/Ø40 cm nursery racks and benches. In fact, you need no new hardware and no re-spacing. Instead, you simply get a healthier pot.
Side Holes + Raised Feet: Two-Way Drainage
So here is what makes it different. Along the lower wall you will also find extra side drainage holes. They work together with the 3 cm elevated feet. So excess water exits through both the bottom and the sides. Meanwhile, air moves back up under and around the pot.
The payoff is a root zone that stays moist but never soggy. This matters, especially in rainy seasons, heavy substrates, or over-irrigation incidents. In those situations, that side airflow is often the difference between a healthy crop and a root-rot write-off. In addition, faster surface drying suppresses algae on the pot wall.
Durable UV-Stabilized Food-Safe PP
We injection-mold this round blueberry pot with side drainage holes from UV-stabilized, food-safe polypropylene. Plus, the dark resin absorbs spring warmth to kickstart early growth. It also stays chemically neutral for acidic peat and pine-bark mixes. And it handles 3–5 outdoor seasons of sun, frost, and mechanical handling.
Similarly, the reinforced rim takes grabbing and moving without cracking. Likewise, the round form slides easily into and out of rack slots. Four variants cover every watering regime. RB-R025L-S has side holes (this page). RB-R025L has no side holes for dry climates. RB-R025L-2S adds two built-in irrigation tube slots for drip-line rows. And RB-R025L-WH comes in white for heat-sensitive regions.
Specs and Loading Numbers, Straight Up
All variants share the same dimensions and stacking. Overall, each pot weighs 665 g. It ships 1,305 pieces per pallet. And 26,100 pots fit a 40HQ container (20 pallets). Growers often pair these pots with our plant label tags, berry support stakes, and drip irrigation kits. Together they make a complete setup. Or choose the 25L square pot if density is your top priority.

How many 30L square blueberry pots fit in a 40HQ?
24,120 pieces — 1,206 per pallet, 20 pallets, stack-nested on pallets.
When should I move up to the 30L square pot?
Step up to 30L (7.8 gal) for vigorous varieties, older bushes, or heavier substrates where the extra root buffer pays off — the 39 × 39 cm top and 32 cm height give roots more downward room than the 25L.
Does the 30L square work with my existing 25L field layout?
Yes — same square geometry and 3 cm elevated feet; just re-check bench and hole spacing for the slightly wider 39 cm footprint.
What size blueberry pot do I need — 25L or 30L?
Most commercial growers use 25L (6.5 gal) for standard mature bushes and 30L (7.8 gal) for vigorous varieties, older plants, or heavy substrates where you want extra root buffer. Square pots (RB-SG25L/SG30L) pack at the highest field density; round side-hole pots (RB-R025L-S) fit standard Ø38 cm nursery racks. The 5L/7L/10L squares carry young liners through propagation.
Are these pots UV-protected for outdoor use?
Yes. They are injection-molded from UV-stabilized, food-safe polypropylene (PP), designed for 3–5 seasons of outdoor exposure. The black color absorbs heat to warm the root zone. Frost-resistant and reinforced grades are available on request.
What is the difference between the square and round pots?
Square pots pack edge to edge with almost no gap, giving roughly 15–20% more plants per hectare — ideal for new high-density blocks. Round pots match traditional Ø38 cm nursery rack spacing and move smoothly on automated handling lines — ideal when your benches and equipment are already round-pot. Same PP grade, same B2B pallet programs.
What is the MOQ and how do I get pricing?
We sell B2B by the pallet and full container. Prices are not published because they depend on quantity, destination, color, and custom options. Click Request a Quote with your quantity and port — we reply with FOB pricing, lead time, and a freight/landed-cost estimate. Small trial orders are also accepted.
Can I order custom colors or my own logo?
Yes. Standard is black; custom colors and printed/branded pots are available for OEM and private-label orders. Black-and-white barcodes up to 3×5 cm are free; color barcodes and custom branding are quoted separately. Tell us your needs in the quote form.
Do you supply irrigation and accessories too?
Yes — we offer matching drip irrigation kits, plant label tags, berry support stakes, and hooks, so you can source pots and planting hardware in one shipment. Mention accessories in your quote request for a bundle price.
